What can I expect from the Exhibition?
Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is a groundbreaking touring exhibition that celebrates the iconic moments, characters, settings, and beasts as seen in the beloved film series and the extended Harry Potter universe through best-in-class interactive design and technology. This unique in-depth exhibition delights visitors through powerful storytelling and innovative technology and features original props and costumes. See how some of your favorite moments, characters, and locations from the beloved film series are brought to life, as well as experience the extended Harry Potter universe, including iconic moments, creatures and stories from Fantastic Beasts™ and Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. Choose your favorite Hogwarts™ house, wand, and Patronus to begin a personalized journey through this all-inclusive exhibit: plop down in Hagrid’s giant chair, squeeze into the Cupboard Under the Stairs, and practice your Quidditch™ skills by throwing a Quaffle all while you learn behind-the-scenes filmmaking details. Will all of the props and costumes be the same in every city?
Because we are showcasing authentic props and costumes from various Harry Potter productions, displayed items will vary by venue.
Will the Exhibition reveal spoilers from the films?
Harry Potter: The Exhibition is a celebration of all eight Harry Potter films and the extended Harry Potter universe. Iconic story moments and behind the scenes information are featured throughout the experience. It is not necessary to have seen all the films in order to enjoy the Exhibition, but visitors will see content from the full timeline of the franchise.
How long will my visit take?
The Exhibition is self-guided, and we expect guests to spend 60-90 minutes exploring.
How long will the Exhibition stay in Melbourne?
The Exhibition will be open for a limited engagement. Please visit our ticketing page for the most up-to-date schedule.
I have the last time slot, will I have enough time?
The Exhibition will close 2 hours after the final entry session each day. We recommend checking our ticketing calendar closer to the date you’d like to visit to confirm operating hours.
Can I dress up to visit the Exhibition?
Yes! We encourage visitors to celebrate the Harry Potter series by dressing up. Wands are also permitted inside the Exhibition. Please share your photos with us using @harrypotter_exhibition and #HarryPotterExhibition!
Is merchandise available?
Yes, there is a retail store where guests can shop for a wide variety of products.
The Venue
What is the address for Harry Potter: The Exhibition Melbourne?
The Exhibition is held in the Fever Exhibition & Experience Centre, located at 62 Dawson Street, Brunswick, Melbourne.
Can I use public transport to get there?
The venue is located at 62 Dawson Street, Brunswick. There are a range of public transport options, but we recommend:
The 19 tram, departing the CBD: alighting at the 21 – Brunswick Town Hall / Sydney Rd (Brunswick) stop, followed by a 6-minute walk.
The Upfield train line, departing the CBD: alighting at Jewell Station, followed by an 8-minute walk.
Is there parking onsite?
Unfortunately, there won’t be parking at this venue, but there is off-street parking in the vicinity.
Are bathrooms available inside the exhibition?
This venue has bathrooms – please ask our staff on site for directions.
Can I bring my stroller inside the Exhibition?
Due to restrictions within the venue, strollers are not permitted inside the Melbourne Exhibition.
Access
What if I need to change my session time?
Tickets can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before your session commences through the Fever App (in the "Tickets" section, using the "Change date and/or time" button) or by contacting us.
What if I’m running late to my time session?
For sessions sold in 30 minute increments, you will have the full 30 minute window to arrive for your session. If you are later than 30 minutes, we will be able to accommodate you in the following session as long as space allows.
Can I leave and come back?
Tickets for the Exhibition provide a one-time entry. Once guests are inside the Exhibition, they may not re-enter. Should a guest need to step out of the Exhibition for an emergency, please notify the nearest staff member.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the Exhibition is wheelchair accessible.
Can I take photos and record the experience?
Yes, please do, and please tag @harrypotter_exhibition when you share on your socials. Please note that we do not allow professional camera equipment such as external lighting inside the Exhibition.
Can I smoke or vape?
No, smoking and vaping is not permitted.

Ticket information
How and where can I purchase tickets?
Can tickets be purchased at the door?
We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets through the Fever App (available on Google Play or the Apple App Store) or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking “Transfer Tickets” on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, digital tickets can be validated directly from the Fever App. Please follow the instructions at the point of sale.
I can’t find my ticket. What can I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the “Tickets” section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
What is your refund and exchange policy?
Subject to availability, this experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
At what age do children have to buy a ticket?
All guests ages 3 and up require a ticket for entry. Ages 2 and under are welcome to visit, and do not need a ticket. Due to restrictions within the venue, strollers are not permitted inside the Melbourne Exhibition.
How do I redeem my Flex ticket?
If you have a Flex ticket, you are welcome to visit the Exhibition on any date or time within the selected month that we are open. There is no need to confirm your time before you arrive. Please refer to our operating hours above when planning your visit. Most guests spend 60-90min inside the Exhibition.
Do you offer complimentary Carer Tickets?
Guests requiring assistance can bring one carer, personal assistant, or support worker free of charge. Simply present your carer’s card, companion card, or or equivalent at the door for free entry.
